Currently learning at Legible Bio. Most recently an investor at BlueYard researching crypto protocols and investing in early stage founders. Before that I started a social DAO, begrudgingly worked at a bank, and enthusiastically set up a design studio.
Some thoughts, questions, and ideas on top of mind lately:
- Value as a function of attention—investing well can be seen as successfully anticipating obscure pockets where attention is likely to systematically synchronize in the future
- Too many folks confuse liquid venture in crypto with simple momentum trading
- My kids are likelier to program biology than computers
- As long read DNA sequencing becomes the norm and sequencing becomes cheaper, how do we manage the deluge of immense genomics data?
- The obvious, impending need to make next gen automated biotech platforms a national priority if we’re going to successfully compete with China
- The tension between truth seeking and reality bending. One is the pursuit of understanding complex systems, the other is imposing a will on the world. Is there is a middle path?
- A deep contemplation and sincere exploration of Advaitha Vedanta philosophy stands to benefit everyone
